The next day we are introduce to the family chemistry. The oldest son is traumatized by the creatures and is afraid to go out into the world. Yet the father takes him out to the wilderness to teach his son how to hunt and other survival skills. The father also tells us that a louder noise cancels out a smaller nose. Although their father loves his children, his relationship with his daughter is a one way love. As she feels that her dad blames her for what happened to one of their loved one. Yet the dad is always attempting to find an earpiece that will help his daughter hear. The movie is different from what we have previously seen. It does not contain very much dialogue but the actors facial expression is unbelievably amazing.
